Vehicle ASB action |
||
Dear residents,
We are aware that there have been reports made to Police regarding vehicle related anti-social behaviour within the local area and further afield, this type of behaviour causes disruption and concern within the community, and we want to reassure residents that it is being taken seriously. Whilst I cannot go into the specific actions or tactics that we undertake, I can inform you that the local policing team have enforced and continue to tackle the issue where possible.
An example of this would be that on Monday 8th September 2025 Police received reports of vehicles acting in an anti-social manner within the St Georges area, through investigation the team have managed to identify vehicles which were present and contributing to the anti-social behaviour, as such Section 59 notices have been issued to drivers and registered keepers. The reports made to Police were invaluable to this investigation and the community support is appreciated.
Our teams will continue to act on reports made and they will carry out enforcement where possible, we will look to identify those responsible and take further steps to reduce the impact on the local community.
We encourage residents to keep reporting incidents so that we can build a clear picture and respond effectively. More information on reporting can be found below –
